I went looking again today and found just one brand new one inside the showroom.
Corvette me
Fucking Zuess I hate that the word patina entered the modern lexicon
I went looking again today and found just one brand new one inside the showroom.
Porcupine....
I am gonna compliment the patina on every gun you post from now on.
(I will probably forget by tomorrow)
Como?
I don’t know. The voices in my head won’t shut up long enough for my diseases to talk to me anymore. But do you have a communicable disease?

Knew this was coming when I hit post.....lol. No I don't think you just coat right over rust, but my preference would be to leave it alone. I want to see the worn finish - it's patina! If it's rusting, I can see the value to preserve it, but otherwise let the worn finish show.
I'm just very traditional and prefer the original finish. It's the same as repainting over the factory paint on a car. No matter how meticulous the custom paint shop was in prepping it, I'd probably the prefer an old factory color. Cerakote an SKS and I will pass!
Fudd? I think connoisseur fits me better....
