Yeah, Gold Dots USED to be the standard. Not the case anymore, even with their G2 Gold Dot lineup. Still a decent round, but there's much better out there.

Everyone I've talked to that has a .45 GAP loves it too. I guess I just don't get it. I've shot a GAP before and it sucked. Had the recoil of a .40, was as loud as a .357 Sig and the ballistics of 9mm with the capacity of a .45?

45 GAP is about identical to 45 ACP when it comes to ballistics.

Or Glock could, oh, I don't know, not use an inch of plastic around their mags, or not leave a huge pocket on the backstrap and actually use it to fill the grip with a magazine like most companies do.
