Should I buy a stainless Rossi .357 lever gun? It's only a 16" barrel though.

Yes.

Cut the tube back about an inch (you will lose a round of capacity but it's worth it) ditch the factory sights, thread the barrel, and put some suppressor height sights on it.

Suppressed lever actions are stupid quiet. Working the action is literally louder than the actual shot.

Debating selling off multiples of some more expensive mags I've got to get an even expensiver mag. Anybody got a lead on a decently priced fleur de lis? Can be any condition. The more used and worn out the better, as long as it's functional.

I've seen those between $450-$600 I wanna say.

Your 16" lever gun is what made me want one. I want an old JM stamped, pre-cross-bolt safety Marlin in either .44Mag or .357. Preferably .44Mag though, but I'd mostly just shoot .44Spl out of it. IDK what it is about .44Spl that I just love but there's something about that caliber that tugs on my heart strings.

Carrying a 44spl right now.

Take mag out and you should be able to tight it pretty good. I think it has a pocket for a mag IIRC

Yup, it does. I'll probably leave a 30 in the pouch and then a 5 rounder in it while it's in the bag. I though a tanker would fit, and it does, but not that great.
