I used to have a 4" S&W 500 and that thing was so heavy it barely recoiled. Loud as hell though. The most painful gun I ever shot/owned was a S&W 329 Night Guard. 2.5" scandium framed .44Mag. only me and one or two other people ever got through a full cylinder out of that thing. Everyone who shot my 500 would shoot a full cylinder.

.500 had a hair pin trigger. I didn’t enjoy shooting it at all still don’t. But I’ll run a desert eagle ragged

And yes, that was my target. Yes, it sucked. I was flinching like a motherfucker. That was my first range outing with that thing. I was bound and determined to shoot the whole box of .44Mag(fullllllllllll power loads) that I brought. I made it to 30 rounds and had to stop because my hand was bleeding. It had cracked the skin open on the web of my hand.
