For anyone debating between a Surefire EDCL2-T and a Streamlight ProTac HL-X here's a size comparison...
Doesn't look like it in the pics but the SF is a LOT slimmer than the Streamlight in all aspects. I'm glad I got the SF to EDC pocket carry and the Streamlight to go on a rifle. This Streamlight is yyyuuuuuuge compared to the SF.
Beam comparison: the SF is a warm white light and the Streamlight is a cool white so it's kinda unfair but they are really similar. Streamlight has a lot more concentrated hot spot and more scattered "spill". The SF has a less concentrated hot spot but more visible outside of the hot spot in the "spill" if that makes sense. Both awesome lights, but this Streamlight isn't gonna replace my SF in my pocket, that's for sure. Mostly because of size, but I also prefer a warm white light for EDC versus cool white.
