AK Gas tube cover?
Hold cover in your left hand, slightly squeezing the edges of the woden guard. Use cleaning rod to turn the gas tube, put it in the V grove, on the end that goes into RSB. Cleaning rod will give you leverage. Install cheesegrate cover in reverse order. Tension spring is installed closer to the back of the tube, but not on the very end. More like in the last 1/3.
The alternate Sovet way is to hook the V on the gas tube base on the trigger guard and turn the cover. Might scratch the trigger guard.
