Well that range trip was a fucking disaster. I brought 1 vz2008 mag and didn't check it until I went to load it at the range. The damn follower is stuck. Can't even load a single round. Spend about 15 minutes trying to get it to move before giving up. Load up the KSG full of Challenger shortshell slugs. Rack one, pull trigger, boom! Go to rack another and it won't eject the spent shell... Have to finger fuck the shit out of each casing to get it out after shooting. The full size buckshot ejects fine, but the mini's get stuck. About an hour at the range and I shoot 7 mini slugs and 3 full size buckshot.
Come home, inspect the VZ mag, and it's bent to every living shit. No fixing it. Chuck that in the trash. Take apart KSG and clean and lube it up. Cycles and ejects mini's just fine. No clue about how it'll do after firing though.

So after shooting and getting so use to the 7.62 now I’d agree. But if you go back to a 5.56 its like shooting a .22lr now. To me at least. And I can easily train a person who is not gun literate in an AR much quicker than I can on an AK in a pinch scenario or militia build up. And I don’t wanna give out my AK either haha!!! I do have 1 AR as a J.I.C. Rifle.
Smart move. I’d recommend anyone to have at least 1 AR. Inexpensive, user friendly, little recoil, easy to teach and learn on.

Well I still do. I understand why you guys don't want to post. I've enjoyed my time over there on ODT, but NONE of us would even know each other and THIS thread and this WEBSITE even wouldn't exist if it wasn't for ODT. That has some meaning for me, so I'm hesitant to abandon it completely. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ALL IN over there, and the thread obviously isn't going to be anything like what it was. You guys obviously aren't ALL OUT, bc at least some of the OG are still over there keeping an eye on it. The thread is moving to the graveyard anyway since someone else is starting a new thread.
