Check the bolt for residual cosmoline and the piston and stuff. Some people don’t clean them as detailed as they should. Only big potential with SKS is old cosmo in the firing pin Channel causing the firing pin to stick in the forward position and slam fire on a cartridge. When you hold the bolt just shake it and make sure the FP is floating freely.

for stripper clips get chinese or BXN. Do not get new production stuff. They are not good
