Turns out one of the firefighter I work with who got covid was an old guy.
He’s 65, and just survived cancer. I’m guessing he got it because his immune system is shot from chemo. Fuck man, he’s one of the guys who is my relief in the mornings when I’m clocking out

Thanks man. The other guy is also on his shift but his result has not come back.
But the older gentleman was confirmed. About a week and a half ago he had to leave because he was extremely sick. Guess it took this long to get the results

Whether you agree with the stimulus package or not, what the dems are doing is pretty insane.

This entire thing has the average person questioning beliefs. I was just discussing this with another buddy. Typically I wouldn't agree with a bunch of government handouts. However, if the government is suspending the majority of commerce and mandating many companies shut down, "something" has to be done. To what degree we can argue, but I think something has to be done.

Similarly, I would hope the government would provide incentives for companies to not lay-off people.
