Yep...that's the beater. Both weigh about 8.35ish pounds with an empty mag

I did read over on the files that Arsenal Bulgaria is no longer shipping AKs to the US and may never again, Mishaco I think said it. So they may rise to the $1500 to $1600 price point....but they ain't there yet.

I've heard that a few times over the past year or so as well. I still have a SLR 106 (556) on my wish list but they are getting stupid $ as well so I may have to take that off the "want" list.
