Got money from wife for my B-day. Will be getting more cash for our anniversary and Christmas. With a condition that I can spend it only on Bren 2.
Should have enough $$$ at Christmas to buy one. Now I need to decide, if it will be in 5.56 or 7.62x39. 7.62x39 uses its own proprietary mags, 5.56 uses AR mags.

55.6 if it was me. Now, if it took AK mags, I’d be all over x39
5.56.......cause I don't like proprietary anything when it comes to detachable magazines in the two rifle calibers responsible for almost all the combat deaths in the past 50 years.
I am leaning towards 5.56. I have Galils to fill in the 7.62x39 niche.

Just watch the dynamics around election time, it has the potential to mess around with pricing and availability. I think we're safe, but the potential is still there for market-driven fears. Or is it fear-driven market? Either way, you get my drift lol...
