Xanax is a benzodiazapene (like valium or Librium) a tranquilizer for when you feel anxious or nervous. Ambien is a sedative/hypnotic taken to sleep. Taken together they can increase the side effects of both. So I've been told.

Do not recommend tripping balls on purpose. In my case, 1 doesn’t work. 2 might work early on. But the. It goes to 2.5 - 4, and by that point you will trip. Every so often I take 1 and legit feel like sleep over take me. I love it. I don’t like to trip.
