the one thing that annoys me is that if I take the timbhole stock off, there is a plate on the back so I don’t think I can put a stock on it and will have to keep that thumbhole.
I didn't say afraid of them. I'd just prefer not to have them on or around me. They stay out of my personal bubble and I'm cool with them.

That plate can be dealt with, I took one off a ISD Bulgarian rifle and riveted in a fixed stock trunnion. There is hope to rid it of the thumbhole, lol.

I might have to send it somewhere to get removed. I’ve never built or done anything to an AK. I’m still Relatively new to aks and I don’t wanna mess it up. But yeah if that plate can be taken out that would make me happy lol.
