I've only ever seen one pair of pants like that before and it was a chick in high school in Washington State on Whidbey Island that wore them...almost enough to make me wanna stay in Yankeeland....
I've had a few over the years. Can't remember having any real issues with them but somewhere along the way I sold them all off.

Yes, they're AR mags, and I looked them over very carefully - they're mostly garbage. 4/6 have slight cracks at the back side of the feed lips, another has a chunk popping off the top center of the feed lips, but the 6th hasn't cracked...YET.
I should've done some research. A quick internet search found a vid of some dude testing one and it cracked on him when he dropped it on packed dirt. Apparently these were from the 80's, so they're VINTAGE, and look cool, but the Israelis stopped using them because they had problems with them...And they wanted to switch to their own GALIL platform anyway...but used USGI mags alongside the ORLITE.
Oh well, it was just $25 for ONE semi-useful mag. *sigh*
I COULD load them up and see how long it takes for them to have catastrophic failures...

Can't say I liked Houston. Roads are HORRIBLE, traffic is horrible, ppl are mostly horrible, and there's no grass in ppl's yards...
