6061 will be easier to machineThanks for the knowledge I’m thinking T-6061 for my first one.
I’m stoked !
Unless you’ve already got a setup, I’d recommend 80%arms.com
Using their jig, you can use a wood router and a drill for the whole thing.

nah i never did. Actually stopped by adventure outdoors today but they wanted 780 bucks for a 640 smith, too much for me.
@Jds556762 you got a revolver for sale?
And this is the place - https://www.hunterslodge.com
Apparently they only accept money order or check and are horrible at shipping things out and are known for misleading advertisements.. they had some pretty cool stuff for sale at a good price, its unfortunate.
Ummm I know someone who might have a few Just saying...…...Are there any local gun shops to Ga that sell 80% AR 15 lowers

Any questions youtube cant answer just shoot me a PMI picked up the jig from @triplestack3 here in the exchange. Looking now at lowers to use with it on the vice with a router and drill press. In the wait I’ll watch videos to get my degree in youtubeology to be an expert by the time I start. LoL

Anyone wanna buy a AES-10 without furniture for $700? Previous buyer didn't realize it was not a AES-10B. No harm no foul.
What's the difference? I'm not in a buying position, just curious
I’d be happy to try if you tell me what to use to drill that hole out with under the extension connector. I don’t have a flex bit that twists to get under it. LoL maybe it’s far enough out front of the connection now that I look at it.I got 25.00 in this one but the rear hole needs to be drilled deeper (Easy to do indicated by red arrow).
I will let you have it for that shipped if you want it.

I'm sorry man. I feel like a dumbass and should be publicly shamed. I owe you one.
Drilled at an angle and all you need is proper bit to correct depth.I’d be happy to try if you tell me what to use to drill that hole out with under the extension connector. I don’t have a flex bit that twists to get under it. LoL
"Requires some fitting"
I bet it does, PSA.
