I thought about that but after options, the M3 is within range and more car for the same money.
However...have you seen that the 1M are selling for the same or more than when they were brand new??? Curious to see if that happens with the M2.
I would have stayed with BMW if my car hadn't been a shop queen. The only upside was everytime I had to take it to the dealer, the loaner I received would be an upgrade over mine.
The downside? I'm sure the mechanics beat on my car while they had it. Not many 6 speed manuals come in the shop.

Yeah man, you can custom configure a ton of stuff with the JB4. He hooks his phone up to it via Bluetooth and you can set up any kind of gauge you want to on the phone screen too and set alerts if it get above a certain temp, pressure, etc.
