It seems to be. I have not opened the bag yet. Left side of the receiver had oil spots on it. I took pick. Put the gun away and ran back to work.

I looked at it. Anodizing changes colors as you tilt the rifle. At one point lower seems darker, but then itis the same color. I think it is because, at least in part, because upper receiver is round and lower is flat and square.

Or just have it ceracoated, for $1100ish it cost to get the rifle, I can pay for a ceracoat.
