So the plan was a straight up IDF clone.

I got an A1 fixed carry upper with A1 sights, teardrop forward assist, no shell deflector.

Zahal IDF handguard and stock wraps

Ive also got a US Army take off Colt M4 prolife barrel stripped, but it’s missing the index pin so I need to fix that. It’s a 14.5 so I’ll pin and weld with an ext A2 and need to populate a FSB too

Got CAR-15 poly stock on order and have a set of skinny carbine round clamshell handguards

Next time you see a MAK-90 with Chinese furniture on it for sale, weigh the options, and a good play may be to buy it just for the furniture. Then, while nobody is looking of course, put some other furniture on it and sale it or keep that one and sale the other one.

Hmmm...4.9oz buffer with extra springs and shit inside for more dampening...I'm already running a 4.9oz standard buffer in my AR pistol, this might make it run even smoother than it already does....

HUUUGE difference, depending on what you're building. I don't like my AR rifles over-gassed, and MOST of them out there are. I call it "Engineered Lifetime Limiting and Replacement Assurance" Or ELLRA for short.
