My wife and I always carry stuff in the baby bag. It's like a bug out bag for a toddler, filled with blankets, towels, wipes, toys, books, snacks, drinks, extra clothes, you name it.

It should. Mount has adjustible tension. MI makes good stuff.
Tighten it up so it slides on with some effort, and lever just cinches it up.
