For occasional random pizza I liked Papa John's, but understood there was better out there.

I liked Peace, Love, Pizza OK for the times when I wanted something a bit better.

but Mellow Mushroom, Johnny's pizza, etc can go fuck off. Same for Pizza Slut, DomiNo NO's, Little Kaiser, and the rest.

You ain't HAD pizza till you've tried a slice of Zucchini FLOWER pizza from a little hole in the wall shop near The Vatican.

But stateside, there was this place in Chicago that had deep dish that was amazing.

Locally, I liked Vingenzo's in Woodstock. Their Fig and Prosciutto pizza is damned good.

Chicago, it was probably Giordano’s, or Lou Malnati’s.
But I see you eating some strange pizza. Pizza deserves to have nothing but meat. Veggies do nothing but ruin a good pie.

They will be moving soon due to road construction in that area. But it will be close to its current location.

Dude I used to haunt that place when I worked at the City. I had a big project at the RM Clayton plant and would go there for lunch almost every other day...that lunch special is awesome.

I was a bit nervous going in there the first time since the whole area is kinda sketch but got hooked. I had my going away party there when I left the City

One of the heritage rough rider .22's that you can get for $100 solves the ammo issue.
As soon as you get into .22 subsonic w/ a can you open a whole new slew of problems.
Ruger mark III w/ spectre II and CZ rimfire cans:
Feeds all supers that I've tried no issues. Prefers american eagle suppressor ammo.
The CCI Quiets will not cycle, but are stupid quiet.

I have good luck with cci standard velocity from my rifles, and pistols. Standard velocity is subsonic from a 16 inch barreled 10/22. Cci mini mags are subsonic from a pistol.

This is what I'm wanting to tryout next. If i don't like it my next would be the Tx-22, SR22 and a GSG .22. Guy showed me his one day with a can on it and it had such a great feel.

We bought two of theses in 2010. They were our first suppressor hosts. Great shooters! But we put so many rounds through them We have worn these fuckers out. Can’t get through a single mag anymore without light primer strikes. I have a new hammer spring to try to see if that fixes it, but the little fuckers are more complicated to tear down than a Glock or M&P.
I bought a ruger 22/45 as the new suppressor, but it’s not nearly as quiet suppressed at the P22’s. Yeah, I know, I can send the to smith & wesson for repair, but it’s such a pain in the ass. Which is also why I still have a sig p365 that has the most horrible trigger of any striker fired pistol I’ve ever seen.
