It's probably okay tbh, just a question of how to really make money doing it. I'd buy bourbon this way if it was easy enough.

Best thing about California was being able to buy liquor at the grocery store.

They do have drive through liquor stores.

I'm not sure about all states, but when I was in Wyoming, the prices were all round numbers and no tax.

Pennsylvania only has beer marts. Basically mini distribution centers and you never know what they'll have in stock or be out of. No beer at the grocery store or gas stations. On another note, lots of Amish in the area I was in, was interesting to see their carriages, tractors...and them hitching their horses to the lamp poles at the hardware store...
