I'd rather private businesses handle it than my tax dollars.

As far as FSG, they're moving in all over the continent. They've registered dozens of sub-corps in various countries and various fields, including fishing rights off Kenya. That one concerns me, a Chinese backed move that close to Somalia could destabilize the skinny fishing industry and cause them to go back to piracy.
Of course, that could all go to hell at any minute reagrdless with the shit show that is Yemen. Skinnys sell a lot of their fish at a Yemeni market, an Iran backed Houthi move on that market could bring us back to 2009 levels of piracy nearly overnight.

Back when my sister and brother-in-law got engaged and were planning their wedding my parents told them that they had a $20k budget. My dad got drunk one night and was fucking with my brother-in-law because he knows he's a cheap ass. He told them that whatever they didn't use on the wedding he'd let them have the rest in cash. He was obviously joking, everyone who knows my dad knew better than that...except my brother-in-law. He was trying to cut costs wherever possible when they were planning everything. My sister was getting pretty pissed and finally asked him why he was trying to cut costs and he told her "your dad said that we could have whatever was left that we didn't spend on the wedding." My sister had to break the news to him that my dad was fucking with him. Everyone thought it was fucking hilarious except my dumbass brother-in-law. My dad still laughs about the fact that if my sister didn't say anything their $20k wedding would have only cost him $5k if it was up to my sisters dumbass husband.
