A SCAR 17 is only about .9 pounds lighter than my 18" para.
If I wouldnt have waited too long on that 16" para with the short gas system, the difference is about .1 pounds. Its kindo crazy that an all steel FAL can weigh the same as an aluminum wunderwaffen

I'm weighing my FALs, my notes from when I had a SCAR, and internet weights.
Even my long boi FAL is only about 9.5 pounds.
It's kinda crazy how close they really are, but everyone raves about how feathery the SCAR is and how heavy FALs are.
