PSA Stainless Barrels?

I doubt you will be able to keep quarter size groups at 1000 yards but for what you pay you will definitely get something you can shoot. Putting an NF on a 200 dollar barrel would be pretty awesome though.
I mean, it's awfully tempting to use industry discounts and make every build as Gucci as you can make it, but even with discounts that shit adds up.

Fuck that. It blows my mind that people buy PSA shit for precision rounds (6.5g, 224 valkyrie, etc). You get what you pay for. Didn't think I'd need to remind a NF salesman of that.
It's not going to be a precision rifle, it's going to be a 200 yard deer and hog rifle and it'd be totally fine at that distance. My main focus for hunting at short range is energy, not hair splitting accuracy.
For that price and what you're looking for, fuck it. Go for it. I think it'd be plenty good for minute of dead deer accuracy at ~100-200 yards. And if you miss you can blame it on the barrel. @Righter13 could probably tell you more about them. I'd be tempted if I weren't saving for a 10/22 build.
I've been more than happy with my budget PSA bargain uppers most of them shooting MOA or less.
Damn it. Now I'm wanting one. I got to looking at them, and was curious what ammo cost, had no idea wolf sold steel case 6.5G for under $5 a box. That would make for a pretty good and cheap hard hitting plinker and hog Slayer.
I'm not in the market for a 6.5G, but do people shooting the 6.5G find that the 10 and 20 round mags are more reliable than 30 rounders? And I thought that they made mags for the 6.5G, that had a different follower.
I can deal with decent accuracy, decent ergonomics, decent prices, decent looks, decent weight, but decent reliability is a deal breaker.
Oh I agree, but there are some good mags out there and some junk mags...same with 5.56. Just need to get some quality mags.
