Maybe I'm simple....but what exactly is "practical tactical"? I see this as the tag line for the long slide Glocks, like the G34. What makes them tactical?

Why what? It's marketing. Same reason Ford calls their new turbo charged engines "Ecoboost" instead of Turbo charged. Someone thought the catchy phrase would help them sell more of their product.

I like the increased sight radius and the look. My concealed EDC switches back and forth between a 23 and 41, but if I am open carrying (on the bike for example), I pack the 41 almost exclusively. I personally prefer the bigger gun.

I easily carry my 41 IWB in the same Crossbreed Supertuck I carry my 23 in.

The few times I need to appendix carry, I always carry the 41. I find the longer barrel makes it much more comfortable.

Very interesting. I notice a huge difference of discomfort going up from a 26 to a 19 to a 17.

Im not a fan personally. I prefer longer frames and shorter slides for comfort/ergonomics to my body type.

Like a G26 with a 19 mag (with or without one of those fancy extensions) is a perfect size to me.

I used to carry my old G34 IWB all the time. It wasn't too bad at all. Much like carrying a full size 1911, just a little thicker....I carried my 17L IWB once. It wasn't that bad until I squatted down to get something on the bottom shelf at WalMart and it hit against my leg and came out of my holster falling straight onto the floor.
