No, you don't "un-float" it, you just basically extend the contact the barrel has with the receiver. It's locked into the receiver anyway, you're simply beefing that connection up. As long as the harmonics are repeatable (which they are with bedding) your accuracy will not be negatively affected. 100% of the time that I've bedded this part of the barrel I've seen accuracy improvements.you pack your shit up and leave with that talk of un floating the barrel.
