I'd personally stay away from 380 for a number of reasons, including cost of ammo and rock a 9mm or 38spcl.

I rarely ever go anywhere without my G19 and my G26 on me, but I usually always have an LCR 38spcl as a third gun and it's perfect for the pocket or mount a clip on it and tuck it inside your belt.

I just bought .380 for a buck a box more than 9mm.

I love the shit out of my LCP, truly.

Gen 2 with a High Noon Mr. Softy Holster. My only concern is that I really do forget that I have it on me.

.380s are awesome pocket guns. Some of the pocket 9's are downright uncomfortable to shoot. I had a PF9 once, took it to the range and sold it next day. Went to a CW9 and never looked back.

Good for you bro. It's often more difficult to find than 9mm ammo and I'd prefer to not spend more on ammo that is inferior to 9mm, but to each his own. I still have a 380 since my wife like her Sig P238 so much. But the first chance I can convince her to go to a 9mm, the better I will feel.

To me, the main advantage is that I can take it anywhere it's legal and do it comfortably. Also, the .380 doesn't have the specs that the 9mm does of course, but I think it's totally adequate.
Remember the big short mag craze in the early 2000's? Everyone was dumping there .257 Roberts/.270's and 30-06's for elk and switching over. I didn't ever talk to a single guy that felt like their .270 was inadequate when it dumped a big bull, but somehow "more" was "better".

You find me a bad guy that will rape you after you put two rounds of .380 in his chest and your claim that .380 is "inferior" will be validated.

The key is to not give him time to discover that those bullets buried in his torso are 102 grain .380's and not 115 grain 9mm's. If he does, consider yourself raped.

All I'm saying is a small 9mm is just as compact and provides a little more proven pop that is easier to find and cheaper... that's all ... just a personal opinion.

I agree, but anyone with an internet connection can find .380. It's been a long time since I've bought any considerable amount of ammo at a store. Hell, I can find .22 Jet and have it on my doorstep before christmas.

I picture guy looking down and picking the flattened bullets from the surface of his chest skin and saying ".380?? Boy you done fucked up now. I'm gonna rape you two times."

Well now I'm torn....either get a pocket 9 and hate it or get a pocket 380 that I can carry anywhere but guarantees rape.
