No- I agree with you. I've never bought any firearms with the intent to resell for more money. Actually, I'm pretty sure I've lost money on dang near every one I've ever bought and then later sold off.

I was just thinking about auctions the other day and wondered how anyone could make a "profit" argument on a $1 no reserve auction. I have no plans to do anything like that- just a hypothetical thought.

Dealers who throw stuff on gunbroker do it because they can't sell it or they want premium dollar.

Setting it $1 attracts views. It's a risk and sometimes you don't get what you want but losing money on one item isn't a big deal.

one is great but the other required a little gas key tightening after a couple hundred rounds. no problem if you have the tools and know what you're doing but I would spend some time checking it over. especially if this is your go-to rifle...

I buy vdi lifecoat bolts now. A bit more $ but the gas key doesn't come loose until the whole motherfucker breaks down.
