The Aimpoint came in today. Seems like it's extremely well built. I was surprised that you cannot see the door for like the first 6 settings unless it's dark. I can see 7-10 very well. I can imagine 10 would do quite well in extreme sunlight. I like the mount they use with the reaching knob. I put it on my AR pistol and did a quick co-witness with my backup sights but haven't shot it yet.
Got to zero and put a few hundred rounds through her today. Since I'm rather immobile right now I just shot off the back deck at my 30 yard makeshift Target range. I think I got it dialed in pretty good but couldn't keep making the trip up and down the deck stairs so I went by Target reaction. I'd say it's a good minute-of-motherfucker right now.
I shot it alongside my dedicated 22lr and both performed well.
