I charge mine about once a week. The S1R II has a battery indicator light on the activation button which is nice compared to the original S1R.

The mini is too damn small IMO. It'd be fine if you're not gonna clip it onto your pocket and just carry it loose in your pocket I guess. Even my S1R's are almost too small to carry. Any time I take something out of the pocket that my S1R is clipped on to it almost comes out. I am constantly having to push the clip back all the way down and adjust it. I still prefer it over the S2R or M2R for EDC though.
I recently bought a clip to keep my keys at the top of my pocket so that I am not digging down below my knife and light and pulling them out on my way back up. It was like $6 on amazon and says me a bunch of irritation throughout the day.
I was surprised how small it is too. I’m thinking it will be a good glovebox light just to have. I would carry in pocket, but the left has keys and right has snus can. It would rattle and sit weird in both.
