OK Why can I still not go on Midwayusa and buy cheap 22 ammo?

44 dollars + shipping for 22 isn't cheap bro. What happened to the 20 for 500 rounds deals?
I know it's not cheap, was just the first place I looked

Gotta be patient. Cabelas had Thunderbolt for 7.99/100 and free shipping today.

It's coming back. And when flippers get tired of waiting in line or paying off their buddies behind the counter for two cents/rd profit, it will all come back.

Hopefully this Fall.

How long is this craziness going to last?
Midway? They've never had cheap ammo. One thing consumers have proven to ammunition companies is that 22lr has been way under priced. Don't expect old prices, ever.

Ready for it to be back on the shelf for sure. I haven't really shot .22 in a long time. It was a weekend thing for me and a few friends to go to the gun club with a box of clays and two bricks each and shoot all afternoon. I miss having a 10/22 barrel that would burn your hand. Haven't done that in a long time now.

The only positive I see here, and it's a small one, is that now I can easily justify buying Wolf Match and CCI Green Tag for my good .22s. Although I almost only shoot those in NRA small bore and bullseye pistol.

True, why buy cheap when quality is just a little bit more.
