If someone at the booth handed me that, I would have been quite happy to give it a test for them. I'm not sure it could stand up to a handshake level grip... much less than how hard I'd squeeze it.
Impressive- but I don't see how they got any real strength out of the small area where the fibers cross. I guess it was laid up on a cylinder and then the epoxy was cured one way or the other.
No idea. It's certainly not as strong as an aluminum rail and seems to be about the dumbest thing I've seen in a while.

Last year when Dougie went to SHOT Show I don't think he was really "working". This year he has been pretty busy doing work. I'm sure he'll post pics of what he's allowed to when he gets some free time. It is frustrating compared to last year's SHOT Show thread but I'm trying to be patient.

Considering that it will be more expensive to shoot than standard FMJ, barrel longevity is irrelevant.
