Dang it, I want to like this postI guess you're right. People just want to be heard.
Pointing it out becomes hypocrisy.
Many of these rants include questions and concerns. Pointing out the obvious negative outlook is often an answer to those questions.
If you don't think they are answers, then, propose something else that is effective and realistic, something better than joining in the negativity since that has about as much effect as "I feelz you bruh" or clicking "like" on a post.
It's not gonna change the economy because employers will just work around it. Employers aren't going to just double people's salaries because Obama says so. We're about to see massive numbers of low level managers punching time clocks for an hourly wage. Then Obama is going to be on tv with his butthurt because the evil rich businessmen are trying to not pay people a liveable wage. Putting the fucking screws to small business is not the way to solve economic problems. This doesn't cripple the big, evil, greedy corporations liberals loathe so much, it cripples people like me who are running small mom & pop operations.Statistically speaking, it was time for the bump up.
I'm no economics wiz, so I won't debate if it nets a positive or negative loss for the economy.

"Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong."They just increased minimum wage to $23 hr. for salaried employees with the stroke of a pen. How do people not see that all this is going to do is lead small businesses to move people off of salary and on to hourly pay schedules that net them what they were making before? Those employees will go along with it so long as they aren't taking a pay cut and don't have to go find another job.
It's insanity. They act like everyone works for these huge, wealthy, greedy mega corporations when in fact, over 60% of americans (the ones that are working) work for small businesses. It just blows my mind that they can be so out of touch with reality and lack an understanding of basic economic principles.
There are always going to be ways to legally get around all this proposed paranoia.
A negative outlook is never a solution.
If a person has just 1 specific trade in life and that trade is dependent on their employer, well, that's simply lack of effort on their part and the negativity is locally brewed and sustained. It's on them.
You are exactly the type of business owner that this type of mandate is designed for. Government loves a driven individual who will work around the system and overcome at all costs. They can hobble you, hang more weight on you, harness you to the the treadmill, and hang a noose around your neck and you will keep moving forward - providing the economic engine they need to power their own agenda. All the the while you scoff at those who see the shackles.Placing blame.
Ignoring personal responsibility and the ability to counter, avoid, advance beyond any bullshit and bitching that forms an obstacle. Fuck the obstacle. If you can't destroy it, avoid it.
It's as if people are unable to adapt.
Unnecessary negativity.
What is the outcome? What does it change?

It seems you're portraying your personal struggles or those of some others on me.You are exactly the type of business owner that this type of mandate is designed for. What exactly are you implying? That I'm doing something illegal?D.oesn't S.ee P.rison.
No, that's not it. You're just wrong. And blind. This stuff affects you as much as gravity. It seems you're portraying your personal struggles or those of some others on me.
I am not affected, it's laughable actually because the hurdles you mention do not apply to me.
I already acknowledged that I'm aware of taxation among other requirements. No, that's not it. You're just wrong. And blind. This stuff affects you as much as gravity.
That whole "pass all the gun control, taxes and other dumb laws you want as long as they don't affect me directly" attitude is more destructive than the politicians who pen them. No, that's not it. You're just wrong. And blind. This stuff affects you as much as gravity.
So you're a socialist?I already acknowledged that I'm aware of taxation among other requirements.
Yeah, it costs me some money. So what. I'm not complaining, there are lots of ways to legally make money.
If you're comparing that to the effect gravity has, well that's pretty pathetic on your part although it must weigh on you heavily (lol)
How am I "just wrong" or "blind"?
I mean, your convictions seem so deep on this.
Have you ever considered that not everyone shares the concerns you do, and not everyone is affected the way you are?
I've changed my assessment. You can't be a business owner. You aren't displaying the acumen and wisdom I would expect to see.I already acknowledged that I'm aware of taxation among other requirements.

Oh? My bad (dawg)I've changed my assessment. You can't be a business owner. You aren't displaying the acumen and wisdom I would expect to see.
I never said you're "for" those things. You just have "no fucks to give" unless they affect you directly. That's a selfish attitude to have and is extremely destructive. Stupid laws don't get passed just because someone wrote them down on a piece of paper. Stupid laws get passed because of people just like you who don't care about how it affects anyone other than themselves.Double post merged, well...
1. No, I'm not for stricter gun laws, or more taxes (no I "must NOT" be, don't try to pull that fallacy bullshit)
My guess is used car salesman...I've changed my assessment. You can't be a business owner. You aren't displaying the acumen and wisdom I would expect to see.

Do you have any idea what percentage of the American population has an IQ below 85? 90?
These people are completely capable of working for a living, but it's insane to expect them to be entrepreneurs or quickly go from one field of work to another. You seem to have fell into the trap of thinking everyone is like the people you know. When a govt regulation or mandate affects folks like leadwell, or other small businesses, these people lose der jerbs. They won't get retrained to make or maintain the machines that are doing those jobs because the minimum wage doubled. They become part of the government supported underclass, forever.
