The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the NRA and GOP are working together on 3 key gun proposals for the Trump administration.
National reciprocity
Suppressor deregulation
Securing a pro-gun Supreme Court justice

I will. Its on us to push hard. Only 2 years are guaranteed with majorities in the house and senate so this stuff needs to get pushed quickly.

Damn right. The majority needs to keep speaking up and not let our appointed legislators forget us- while we have the majority.

Based on the recent chatter, I would be surprised ifor Trump remains in office long. He was essentially a lapdog used for his money to help attain a Republican Presidency. It has been said that he will either be impeached or taken out by some faction to promote Pence to President.

We are a ways from having to worry about it, but the bill will simply allow legal possession of a firearm that is legal in the state or city as it is defined. In other words, a G19 with a 15 round magazine would still be illegal in NY.

You'd still have to abide by the ccw laws of the state, (do signs carry force of law or not) and for states that don't have it, they'd obviously be created and be incredibly strict.

It'll still be a minefield to navigate, but slightly better than it is now.
