All you see on fb are highlights. You don't see the bulk of people's lives, and you don't see it in context so don't read it that way.
What did you not like about CT? I grew up in CT on Long Island Sound. About 20 minutes outside of New Haven. I would prefer to never live there again. I don't hate the place and go back every year for holidays. It's just kind of a boring state and very expensive. The people are a lot different there than they are in GA too (obviously).
If I get married at 30... then have kids at 32.. I'll be 50 when they are 18.. 30 is creeping up on me too. See my concern?
I see your concern, but I got married at 31 and my child will be born right after I turn 33 (this summer). I just don't think you should be concerned. I'm not worried about being 50 when my kid is 18.

My in laws adopted a baby that was left on their doorstep when they were 50, they're 68 now and they love it.

Look at the bright side, the cataracts, glaucoma, wheel-chair and oxygen bottle will be way more fun than the first tuition bill
No....I'll be 47 when my first kid is 18. All that means is hopefully I'll have more than enough security and money to take care of her most of her life. What does it matter how old you are?
Go to Europe.....especially Germany. Most couple don't have kids or even get married until they are in their very late 20s or 30s.

I'm 43 and my oldest is 18. I'll be 47 when my middle child is 18 and a whopping 57 when my youngest is 18. She already brags to the other kids how we'll be traveling the world while they're getting their careers started.

The state itself is pretty beautiful. I'd live there if I could export 99.9999% of it's inhabitants.
