Both And more. Why limit yourself to just one platform.

Handguns bore me though anymore. I carry a Glock, have a bunch of 1911s and wheel guns, but when I go to the range rifles are what I take.

I do most of my shooting at 300 yards with a suppressed 223 bolt gun. I don't really even shoot the SBRs much.

Its a Springfield loaded. Its a great gun. I carry it most of the winter so its got some wear but I do like it. I just need a rail.
You looking to move on from it, or just add to the collection? I've got an M&P that gets absolutely no love from me. It just sits in the safe. LNIB full size 9mm I've been thinking about parting with.

I haven't really shot either one very much so its hard to say. At the shooting range I'd probably want the 1911 but if I was in a fight I'd go with the glock.

I like the looks of the 1911 but the utility of the glock wins in my opinion.
