Priced about the same as the Mepros from what I can tell. I don't mind paying for quality. Not sure how I feel about the tiny blacked out rear sight, I've never shot one like that. I would definitely want to use one before I bought them.

I have a set on my Glock 19 that you could try if you're ever around Cherokee County. I like the fact that you can't see the rear dots during the daytime because I prefer a plain u-notch rear sight. The orange front sight (you can also get it in yellow) really pops during the daytime too...I've also had a few sets of Ameriglo i dots that I really liked too once I got used to them. They were not so good for precision target shooting but excellent for fast follow up shots.

James Yeager recommends those. I've tried someone else's, they were more quick than accurate. Good choice for a carry gun though.
It's primarily a carry gun, but it's also a suppressor host. So while I really like the looks of the XS and would like to try some out, I think I'm gonna have to stick with the suppressor height Heinie straight eights.

Those are pretty quick also, and are better for precision shooting IMO.

I think it's only point and shoot because of muscle memory. Your eye lines up the sights without thinking about it because you've practiced it so many times. I don't believe things would work our quite as well as you think if you can't see your sights.

They're also way cool and the kids love 'em, so really if you think about it, it's for the children.

I get what you are saying. I just hope you don't let the night sights replace a good light. Need to make sure what you are throwing rounds toward. I don't mean to poo poo your wanting night sights they are nice for quick acquisition in low light.

Heinie Straight Eights are my go to sight set up. Like Frank's red hot sauce, I put that shit on everything!

Since it's a suppressor host as well and Heine has tall options, they definitely seem like the best choice for me. And they look like they'll be good in any light. I just have prioritized other things above this upgrade lately. I'll have them on there soon enough.
