I run the PRS on my JP Enterprises LRP-07 in .308. I like the adjustability of it in that application, for what I use that rifle for.
For my "standard" M4's I prefer the Magpul MOE.
For my "standard" M4's I prefer the Magpul MOE.
They're supposed to be pretty rugged as well and have a few extra positions of adjustability.
I'm modifying 1 gun and building a second, and wanting to cut weight on both. Looking at the Luth-AR for both. Overall I prefer the Magpul PRS, but the Luth-AR is "good enough" and weighs less. Price starts around $150 MSRP and can go up depending upon options.
The gun I'm modifying is a DRD Tactical M762. I've already ordered a 16" Proof Research carbon fiber barrel for it, that'll tighten up the groups and she's already a very good shooter. Currently running the Magpul MOE that came on it and a stock with better cheekweld will improve accuracy a tad.
The rifle I'm building is a .300Blk on a Remington/AAC Model Seven action. I've got the action and a 16" light contour threaded barrel. I'll drop it off next week at Accurate Ordnance to screw them together and sandwich a recoil lug in between them. Thinking of dropping it in an XLR Industries chassis with a side folding kit. I've got a Nightforce 2.5-10x24mm still in the box that will go nicely on top of it. Lightweight and compact. It'll serve dual use; a deer rifle for my daughter and a suppressor host for me.
Anyways, may go with the Luth-AR on both of these.

I'm a big fan of the LUTH-AR stock. That said it tends to be sold without all the ad ons that shoutld come with it.
It's OK, I've got a lot of money to burn on my guns. Makes me feel superior.
Man, I must be a massive moron, I dropped $400 on an MVB ARC and all I got for my trouble is the ability to throw my rifle, fully assembled, in a 3 day pack.
Aww, don't be so hard on yourself; I think most of us give you a little extra latitude considering the helmet.
Depending upon intended use, and skill of the shooter, not all rifles are candidates for a Magpul PRS. I have several AR's and only 1 has a PRS; my JP Enterprises LRP-07 .308. The ability to adjust the PRS to fit me perfectly is one of the factors that allows me to run that 18" .308 semi-auto out to 1400yds.
You are a moron but only because those go for $355 online. Could've saved yourself $45.
