Shorter grip to make it easier to conceal while gaining the longer sight radius of the G17 slide. I won’t say it’s coming,but there are a good bit of people who have cut G17 grips down to G19 size.

I like the angle of the grip of the G17 better and you get an extra 2 rounds. The advantage I guess is weight and faster target acquisition is my guess.

My hands are much larger than average. With a undercut trigger gaurd and high and tight grip the 19 fits perfect. Tried carrying a 17 but that extra half inch or so grabs ahold of everything and prints like a mofo.

Don't you carry a fucking lc9 lol

Agreed. They got it backwards for sure. Instead of a G19X, it should’ve been a G19L.

BTW, the earlier comment about this thing being sexy was complete sarcasm. If you want the bigger grip, get a G17. Barrel and slide are rarely a printing issue. Capitalize on the longer barrel and sight radius. A G19 grip is easier to conceal and add the longer sights radius, I feel you have a winner.

Depends on clothing and who’s carrying it. I carry my G19 in cold weather comfortably. Warm weather and I’m down to the LCP Custom.
