The new system features an integrated sound suppressor which promises noise reduction of up to 40 dB. According to the company, the suppressor is user serviceable and uses a modified K baffle system.

FightLite uses a tensioned 2.5″ barrel with a match chamber. Combined with the integral suppressor system, its overall length is 11″ With a 22/45 frame, the pistol weighs 24.3 ounces unloaded.

Picatinny type rails are located on the top of the unit and at the 6 o’clock position under the barrel. These units have a suggested retail price of $699.

It's pretty short for an integral 22/45, but it only has 2.5" of actual barrel.

for comparison this is the YHM 22/45 integral upper for a 22/45

Ack, that 22/45 frame is awful. I'd love to have one on a MKII.

Nice price.

How do integral suppressor a compare to normal ones? Obviously they can't be swapped around but is there and advantage to them other than keeping length down?

They're just so fucking cool... And seamless. To me, it's nothing but the look. Which is fucking awesome on a MK II. Looks plain, but sounds like *pfft*

I'll pass on the 22/45. I want an integral to look like a bone stock Ruger- not the jazzed up thing they have. And all that rail looks heavy. Don't really want heavy on that pistol.

I would kind of dig it if they would have made the rail sections detachable. A tad too tactical/clunky for my taste how they have it setup.

I wish they added some more barrel to it. 2.5 inch is awful short.

Other than the cool factor and some of the other reasons mentioned, you typically see integral suppressors on 22 in the rifle world. It keeps bulk and high velocity ammo subsonic. That is the big selling point to me. So a 2.5 inch barrel on an integral does nothing but compromise accuracy, IMHO. They could easily bring the barrel out to 4.5 inches.

Not my cup of tea but I appreciate the innovation.

Well it all Depends.

Kgmade or Liberty's pinnacle is cool in that it looks no different than a standard bull barrel 10/22 and keeps the length short.

Additionally, integrals often have larger internal volume. They don't have to worry about being added to a gun, so rather the silencer can be maximized in width. Liberty Leonidas uses a larger diameter since they instal the rail system when they make the rifle so there's no issue meeting a standardized size. Also cool features like liberties muzzle brake on the Leonidas that directs gasses rear word toward the shooter allows a more efficient use of the suppressor volume that exists behind the muzzle. Which also points out that integrals often allow reflex to the open volume behind the muzzle. Further integrals can port gas in the barrel or cut the barre very short so that normally supersonic rounds will be subsonic(mp5sd keeps 124gr 9mm NATO subsonic).

Cons are that it can't be swapped, sometimes harder to clean, and sometimes they can look strange.
