@Leshaire I use a conservative amount of Fire Clean on my baffles and pistons after cleaning seems to help but smells like bacon cooking for a couple rounds then I want a baconater from Wendy’s when I’m done
seems like an added benefit to me.

This shit is impossible to clean without a steel brush... Its soaking in freaking Solvent right now.
Idk what is what. The user guide says it is constructed of titanium, steel and aluminum lol

Heat treated stainless steel and bead blasted.
Yeah but what material is everything else?

I just havent cleaned it in years. I used to every other shooting or so, but that shit got old after a while.I took mine apart it looks like the piston and where the piston locks in is stainless which makes sense the first baffle is stainless and the spring feels light like it’s titanium I’m guessing. The piston is the toughest to keep clean tho 1k rounds is about right for cleaning especially if u use dirty ammo

Someone at GFL told me to soak the entire thing in lube overnight then shoot the hottest ammo I have through it. Sounds kinda goofy. Anyone heard of this??
That should give you a good blast of carbon debris in the face to remind you to do maintenance on your cans so they last longer and are easier to clean.
No never heard of it tho
Lmfao. I don’t want to be anywhere near someone shooting a can that’s been entirely soaking in live all night.

That would be a great trick or treat for someone you like that needs a good smack in the face lol
Alright, will this do the trick?!

Put it in the basement or garage it’s gonna make some noise but yeah I bet it’ll do what it’ll do
I got it apart easily. I can't scrape the buildup off the internals though.haven’t yet found an issue that either two strap wrenches or a wooden dowel and mallet couldn’t solve. but then again i try to clean my cans every now and then.
I got a tumbler from a buddy to borrow, now I just need to figured out what medium to use on which pieces. If you don't have access to a tumbler or blast cabinet, these work just fine for cleaning up and/or bead blasting small parts.

I don't know where you're at, but you're welcome to have at my blast cabinet, tumbler or sonic cleaner whenever you'd like.
Also, after mine are clean, I soak them in pure silicone oil. This not only lubricates, but helps prevent the buildup and aids in disassembly and cleaning. DOT 5 brake fluid is pure silicone oil. That's what I use.(not 5.1)
I use stainless pins on everything.I got a tumbler from a buddy to borrow, now I just need to figured out what medium to use on which pieces.
