Mosin worth it?

do you know which one it is? a 91/30 there is no way I would pay 200. The mosin I had was fun for a little bit but then I got bored with it and stopped shooting it.
In my opinion they were painfully boring guns at 70 bucks, and there is no way I would ever pay 200 one. I realize some people love them, but they do absolutely nothing for me.

Back in the day they were dirt cheap. And so was the ammo. No brainer, right?
Now, not so much either way.
But anyone remember those $99 Nagant pistols from AIM? That now sell for, uh, twice as much if you can find them?
I will argue that the 91/30 is still the cheapest way into big bore (non poodle-shooter cartridges) firearms at a reasonable price. Ammo, relatively speaking, is still cheap, too. Not as cheap as it once was but cheaper BY FAR than, say, uh, .303, 8mm, 30:06, .308, 7.5x55, dare I say more?
I just got a 91/30 a few months ago and haven't had a chance to explore her abilities but I guarantee when I do it will cost me less than all those mentioned above.
Plus, owning a piece of military history; a wood and metal rifle, that appeals to me.

150 is the going rate for them now i figure unfortunately
you can find one pretty often for 175 or 180
I paid $200 for the last 91/30 I bought, but it was a pristine never fired (since re-arsenaled) Finn captured rifle. It looks like it just came off the factory floor.
The $99 mosins are long gone I'm afraid, unless the conflict in the Ukraine ends and they start exporting them again. (That's where we are getting them for the last several years from what I understand)

these guns come with a bayonet and a kit with cleaning stuff and what not. they are also covered in cosmoline
At $200, no. At $150 or less, yes, they are kind of fun.
I paid $99 for my 91/30 and nothing for my M44 (U fix'um from Century Arms, was only missing 1 screw in the stock) back when I helped out at a gun shop.
Ammo is still pretty darn cheap, they are pretty accurate for what they are, and the receivers are extremely robust. The recoil is about the same as a 30.06.
If you can get a reasonable deal on one, they are worth it IMHO. Now, the $300 ones at Cabela's is fucking retarded.
