How do you like the Ultra CDP? I recently purchased my first Kimber, and I'm hooked.

I really like it. It is, in fact, my primary carry gun. Yes, I know that 3" guns can be problematic, but this little guy has been 100% reliable through more than 600 rounds now.

Here is my springer too. They sent the black grips with it, but they never got on the gun or are they likely to get on the gun.

Well, I can certainly see why they'll never make it on the gun, as the ones on there now look too nice.

I resisted the Kimber urge for decades, then finally gave in.

Right after that I ran into a great deal on another 1911, you may be familiar with. A Ruger SR 1911. So that's 2 1911's, with differing attributes. Worth the bucks.
