Use / distance?
For .308, personally 3-9 or larger, but depends on what it will be used for

1.5-4 x 28 Nikon or Leupold. Maybe.....maybe a 2-7. Anything over that and you should get waterboarded by the ghost of Jeff Cooper..jeezuz, 10x+? Fuck.

Nikon= gross

Leupold= FUDD fancy

Variable power= useless

BDC= usually wrong
Nikon = Solid

"FUDD fancy", lol, Like Browning

BDC sucks.

Scout scopes have no use for dots or dashes.

I agree, 3x ftw, otherwise, 1.5-4 Wider fov with a fixed power scope, and it is a fucking scout rifle after all.

I really enjoy my Vortex scopes. Clear glass affordable and dependable I tend to play rough with mine
