Ask @boss_hawg what he thinks of mine I traded to him... If I had a 1894 to trade for a MAK-90, I'd do it in a heart beat... ( but ask him to take the buttstock off and see if its a strait cut reciver)

Comparing pictures if straight and slant cut online, it looks to be a straight cut.

Do it !! If I every get back into 7.62x39, it will be a MAK-90 rifle.

IMO, the MAK-90 is the Cadillac of the AK world. it's just so smooth.

definitely want the straight cut. furniture change options are limited with the Chinese dimensions of the receiver.

stock trigger is very, very nice.

they are very well built. I've had saigas, Hungarians, Arsenals/Bulgarians and I prefer the Chinese MAK. arsenal is nice too but the MAK - it's just so smooth!

My fist AK was a Mak90. Bought it for $300. Wish I never traded it off. I thought an AK was an AK but after owning several other AKs, saigas, polish, yugo, wasr, nothing compares to the MAK. Sure wish I could pick up another one for $300.

I love my Mak. I don't know about you, but I'd get way more use & have way more fun with the Mak 90. Unless you have some sentimental attachment to your gun, I'd do it.

I love my Mak. It's a straight cut. I like the beefier receiver. It has good balance.

I just emailed him back and said OK. Worst case, if I don't like it, it looks like AKs are easier to unload than 94s.

Chicom's are my favorite as well... The 1.6mm receiver will take a beating and last forever.

Paid $150 for this in 2013.
