Let's talk hearing protection

What is everybody using for hearing protection?

I am looking at possibly moving into the electronic style muffs. What are some pros to this style. Obviously one of the big cons is shooting rifles and trying to get a good cheek weld.

Does anybody here run the new age in the ear electronic mold type plugs? I seen these at a gun show last year and was pretty impressed.

Peltor ComTac III for me.

My wife runs the peltor's you get from Walmart.

The Howard lights are hard to beat for the money when you wanna hear. Foamies when you don't. I shoot mostly suppressed and don't use either in matches. It's nice to be able to easily communicate.

Foam squishy plugs. 32 dB reduction. I need all the hearing I have left. I have some Pro Ears that are really great, I just don't use them indoors.

Nothing against you. I will not be shooting suppressed for at least 4 months and not all the time after that. But when I do go to the range I still would like to be able to hear over everybody else's loudness, that is till I send them your way.
