John Mosses Browning designed many many great guns for America and god was pleased. He designed the hi power for the French and god killed his punk ass.

They are hit or miss.
Aim surplus has some police trade ins for sale at the moment. They are the mkiii versions
Possibly one of the most beautiful and best shooting SA 9mm's of all times. Some may hate that i would ever say this, but a Hogue grip on a Hi-Power may be the single best feeling pistols I have ever held.I love them, but the nice ones always seemed to be priced just high enough to make it not affordable when I do have a few extra gun dollars.

1911s are the finest fighting handgun ever produced. Hi powers are....well hi powers. I own one. My father in law keeps it at his house. Honestly it doesn't do anything for me.
Just remove it. It's a simple process and makes a big difference in your trigger.
I was very blessed last year in falling into a Hi Power Deal that comes once in a lifetime. 1981 with the high gloss finish, adjustable target sights, Never fired with the original bill of sale in the box. I was told I could buy it for the original purchase price of 629.00.....!!
