I was in Scottsdale, AZ from the 23rd to the 30th of last month. Bass Pro Shop and Wal Mart were bone dry for 40 caliber or 9mm.

Stopped by Walmart today in alliance Ohio. I scored two boxes of 7.62 x39.

Walmart today had tons of fmj. Most of it was 9mm. Stacks of Federal and Winchester 100rd value packs in 9mm, 40, 45, and 38sp and 50rd boxes of 32 and 357sig. Tons of 556, 7.62x39, and 7.62Nato also. Had bulk 7.62Nato and 5.56 in ammo cans for $480 (I think). I grabbed a few 50rd boxes of BrassMaxx in 223 for just under $17 each. No 22lr though.

Just left Walmart in alliance Ohio. I scored 3 more boxes 762 by 39 they still had probably three or four boxes on the shelf. they had about four boxes of 38 special in quite a few of 40 S&W.
And when my Colt 1903 seen 6 boxes of 32 ACP on the shelf it almost jumped out the holster. LOL

Trigger since I've owned it for over 50 years I'm pretty well stocked up on ammo. In fact back then I made a swaging die so I can make half Jacket bullets when only full metal jacket was available.

All 3 of my local Walmarts had stacks of 9mm this weekend. I was shopping mid afternoon as well. 100rd Federal and WWB value packs as well as 50rd Federal. Hopefully that's a more common occurrence.

Dunham's Sports at the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville,PA had a ton of .22 LR Thunderbolts on Saturday Feb 15th. Also, they had some 9mm,.40 .45, .223, .22WMR and a few spam cans of the 7.62x54r left.

Not sure if anyone else is in my neck of the woods in PA, but , I figured I'd post anyway. I didn't see this thread before, or I would post what Cabela's in Hamburg, PA has from time to time.

My local Walmart is almost fully stocked (Sioux Center, Ia---NW IA). They've had stacks of almost everything, although .22 gets bought up fast. Ammo-can.net shows almost daily shipments of .22's and I've bought 3 or 4 thousand rounds in the last couple of months. Looks like its turning around. Not sure why it varies so much state to state.

Also.....still 1 box limit on .22, and 3 box limit on all other ammo.

I saw a you-tube video of a walmart employee getting paid for text messages to alert his cronies of ammo shipments. I think there is a lot of this kind of thing going on, as people can double and even triple their money (at least with .22) by selling on gunbroker, etc. It's not all that hard to believe that some less than ethical employees can make a few extra bucks by taking advantage of the current situation. I would like to think that eventually the buyers of over-priced ammo will get stocked up or wise up and the market will return to normal. Hey, I can dream.

60 Miles north of Detroit.Wal Mart has been filling cabinet 3 times a week with normal stock.22lr once or twice a week.Couple hundred boxes at a time..gone in short order.So maybe looking up been steady for a month know... Lgs has some off brand 22lr 100 bucks for 500 rounds.Brown card bored box with label on top.At that point i never???what brand..I should have though.I will find out the brand...
