In recent combat tests, the F35 loses in dog fights against the F16 every single time.
The test pilot couldn't even turn his head in the cramped cockpit. The F-35 performed so dismally in a dogfight, that the test pilot remarked that it had pretty much no place fighting other aircraft within visual range.
