I run the JP system in my JPE LRP-07 .308 for almost 5 years now. No issues, performs like advertised.

Do you have to clean it regularly?

I've never cleaned mine. Probably have about 1,000 through it.

I think the latter is a PSA bolt. If it's like the first one you just pop that pin and slide the weight out.

It is definitely the psa one.

Not really sure why. It functions fine though. So no complaints on my end.

Yeah, I'm sure it'd never be an issue unless you wanted to run a captured spring setup like JP.

All I've ever done with mine is wipe it down with a rag.

I have the JP silent spring in my 300 Blackout SBR that I use with my ARC30 Suppressor and compared to the regular spring system the JP is much Quieter.
I have not had any issues out of it so far with any ammo I have shot out of it (full power or Sub-Sonic).
Got mine on sale for just at 100.00 and could not be happier with it.
Also I am considering getting the Wire Braded one too but just can't bring myself to do it as the JP works so well.
